The HiBORE XL’s larger face has also allowed its sweet spot to be expanded, while its larger chassis has increased moment of inertia (MOI) by 15% over the original HiBORE. The Legacy Driver Tour Model by Callaway Golf is set to be released early October as a Japan Only product. This model is part of Callaway Japan’s flashship LEGACY series similar to the original model released in 2008 except this one is geared to the Pro or Better Golfer.
This Legacy Tour Driver is 440cc’s with a compact and pear head shape design. It also features a traditional hosel type unlike many of Callaway’s recent U.S offerings, they went with the traditional hosel for 3 reasons, the first is the player can sense more kickback during and after the swing, the second is this allows the golfer to have more control to fade or draw when working the shot and lastly a stronger trajectory.
