CLUB RATINGS *
NEW: These clubs are Brand New and have never been hit. They come in the same condition as if you bought them New from a store.
MINT/NEAR MINT/DISPLAY/LIKE NEW: The clubs are nearly impossible to differentiate from new. They MAY have been hit but very few times, if at all, and show little or no wear. These clubs may have been refinished at some point. In the case of older model club(s) the condition rating is calculated relative to age category. Display items MAY show some very minor signs of shop wear such as very light carpet scuffing on the sole.
EXCEPTIONALLY NICE: Unlike the the Mint/Near Mint/Like New rating these clubs have clearly been hit but are in fantastic shape. They may have a few scratches if you look closely but will still look like the newest club in most bags. In the case of an older model club(s) the condition is exceptionally nice relative to age. They must show MUCH less than normal signs of use/cosmetic imperfections.
VERY NICE or VERY GOOD: Clubs that have been very well maintained and would still rate well above the “norm”. The clubs show much less than expected signs of use.
NICE or GOOD: These clubs have seen normal use (usually several seasons) but are in better than average shape for that particular model club. They may have some cosmetic imperfections but will look better than the average club in most players’ bags.
SOLID: These clubs have been used but not abused. They will show normal wear from frequent play and may have natural scratches, pop up marks and/or bag wear on the shaft. These are great clubs for those looking for performance and value and are less concerned about cosmetic imperfections. Forged clubs will always show minor dings due to their softer composition.

We VERY seldom have a reserve price. What this means is: If our auction has a starting price of $99.00 (for example) and you are the only bidder to place a bid for $99.00 you WILL win the auction. We make every attempt possible to accurately depict the condition of our items and in some cases minor cosmetic flaws may not show up in a photo. We recently received a neutral feedback about a photo not matching the condition of the club. ALL photos we show are of the ACTUAL item being sold unless otherwise stated in the item description. ADDED INFORMATION ON RATINGS
Many of the items we sell are used. Used clubs(s) will show various degrees of use. We attempt to describe the condition of our clubs as accurately as possible. . We have a difficult time rating clubs on a 1-10 scale as we find this to be very subjective. Our “8″ rating might be another sellers ” 9″. If there is a defect on any of our clubs that would harm the performance we will clearly state this (although we seldom sell any clubs that are not in excellent playing condition)…. For example, we will not sell clubs that have damaged graphite shafts without clearly stating that the shaft needs replacing. Small amounts of surface paint rubbed off a graphite shaft (from normal use) is not considered damage as it will not hinder performance.
