an exceptional vintage golf bag with 5 storage compartments…all zippers are perfect as is the same with the club cover (pix 6) please note pix 2 & 3 that show signs of ware from pulling too many wedges (because of missed greens) and typical golf cart strap ware in pix 3……pix 4 you can see 4 screws that reinforce the handle……this was repaired by the best shoe repair guy in bakersfield. cal back in the early 90′s and is stronger than when it came from the factory….the leather strapping is in extremly good shape also……10″ in diameter with 6 club slots…….it is just a really great old bag that has had very caring attention thru the years…..no tears or mars…..i know the shipping is $26.51 with delivery conformation……i dragged it to the usps to make sure……thanks!!

I love this club! I love the feel, weight, look, and sound. With the light shaft, the solid head comes around with plenty of speed. I have made great drives with this club, most between 240 to 260 yards. I bought this driver later summer 2009. I have used it for probably no more than thirty holes and for some driving range practice.
It is in good condition. I would rate the head itself a 9.0 or 9.5 out of 10.0, 10 being perfection. But it has a small blemish on the shaft about 1/8″ in diameter (picture 4). It arrived that way from the retailer. It does not seem to damage performance and I was told Tour Edge clubs come with a lifetime warranty, so I have not worried about it. It has the original Golf Pride grip but it has a small split on the seam abourt 1/8″ wide by 1/4″ long. I never noticed this small split until today when I was inspecting this club for this write up. I am 6’3″ and have long hands. For me, the split starts about the base of my right thumb when holding the club for hitting but a quarter of the way around the side of the shaft. It’s on the right side of the shaft 1 7/8″ from the bottom of the grip. Since I have big hands and my fingers don’t come close to it when holding the shaft, I doubt most golfers would even notice it except visually or if you like to choke way down on the driver shaft. Wise golfers re-grip their club every year or so anyway and I believe you could get another year or two of play out of the current grip, so I don’t conisder this a big issue. Accordingly, I rate this club 8.5 of 10.0.
My only problem with this club is that based on my swing type, I launch it like a mortar, not a cannon. (I have had several other 9* clubs and I had the same problem with them.) Thus, I have bought a used 7.5 driver and I’m going to give that a shot and see how I do with a lower loft. Plus I don’t think I need four drivers lying around the garage (a 7.5, two 9.0s, and one 10.0) Since this is my best, newest 9.0 and my distance with the other 9.0 is the same, I am selling this one for cash towards a golf GPS.
