Folks living in Myrtle Beach has exposed me to 100′s of PGA professionals, touring pros, and “players”. If you looked in their bag especially players you would be shocked. They may carry as many as 5 different brands of irons. Their secret they only carry what they hit well. “Sets” are a recent phenominan and are promoted heavily by the manufactuers. The dirty little secret is for most of us sets are horrible. If you can’t hit one of your precious irons in the set…get rid of it and try a different brand or style. I do, the players certainly do so what are you waiting for. Experiment and get some that will win you some skins!

When you are evaluating the item on auction it is VERY important that you check out the condition of the grip(s). Re gripping a club can run anywhere from $6.00 to $14.00 each!! Putters can cost you up to $50.00. It would be a major disappointment to unpack your new purchase and realize you can’t use it because the grip is in horrible condition. We always rate our grip condition. New grips as mentioned do cost more but you really get what you pay for.
