Once you place your order for your custom golf clubs with Custom Golf Stop, we will email a Custom Specifications Info Sheet requesting the specifications for your golf clubs. Once we receive payment and your custom fitting details we can start building your clubs and ship them within 2-3 business days unless, an item is not in stock then 3-5 business days. Note on new grooves rule:
USGA has announced new rules for grooves on irons manufactured beginning in 2010. Only professional golfers and “expert” amateurs are required to use these grooves this year. All other players may use their existing clubs until at least 2024, including for establishing and maintaining a USGA handicap. We will have new wedges soon which will conform to the new rules. Unless you are a pro or entering a USGA championship (US Open, US Amateur etc.) you might even stock up on wedges to keep the ball spinning!

What is bounce? Bounce is the measurement in degrees of the angle from the front edge of a club’s sole to the point that actually rests on the ground at address. The middle or rear of many soles is lower than the front edge. Bounce is most commonly applied to wedges. More bounce will keep the club from digging too deeply into turf or sand. The amount of bounce needed depends on conditions. If you play courses with soft, fluffy sand, you’ll need more bounce. If the courses you play typically have harder sand, you’ll need less bounce. Playing from fairway – less bounce. The type of swing can influence the amount of bounce needed too. Players who swing their wedges steeply into impact need more bounce. Players who sweep through and undercut need less bounce.
Price is for assembled golf club with standard Apollo 35.5 inch regular flex steel shaft and Karma Velvet grip. Many other grip and shaft options are available for an extra charge. Clubs have a one year warranty on materials and workmanship. Warranty does not apply to abuse of clubs.

Note on new grooves rule:
USGA has announced new rules for grooves on irons manufactured beginning in 2011. Only professional golfers and “expert” amateurs are required to use these grooves next year. All other players may use their existing clubs until at least 2024, including for establishing and maintaining a USGA handicap. Right now there are no clubs available to the public which conform to the new rules, new wedge from me will be available soon. Unless you are a pro or entering a USGA championship (US Open, US Amateur etc.) you might even stock up on wedges to keep the ball spinning!
