Who ever said a mid-sized soled design can’t be forgiving? The slim profile was carefully selected based on feedback accumulated over years from numerous golfers who didn’t want to have that chunky appearance when setting the club behind the ball. Yet these very same players still demanded all the most modern game-improvement features at their disposal to help them lower their scores. The non-glare topline to the generous offsets allow the majority of today’s players to hit both solid and straight shots to inspire confidence in their game. The Standard Acer XK model could soon be the standard in the industry. Manufactured from 431 stainless steel.
Meet the latest generation of Acer drivers loaded with many added features to improve the game of a wide range of players. First they focused on the face technology by offering a variable face thickness, cup-face design. While it is easy to provide for the maximum allowable performance on center shots, the difference of a premium club is the ability to provide near perfect results with less than perfect shots. The cup-face moves the welds away from the corners of the head to provide a thinner, more active face to maximize ball speed on the off-center shots. The variable face thickness further reduces the wall thickness around the perimeter of the impact area so the entire club face becomes a gigantic sweet spot. Now off-center or miss-hits will launch the ball directly down the fairway like you perfectly struck the ball in the center of the face. The shape of the head was carefully selected to appeal to the eye of a wide range of golfers, yet improve stability by expanding the front-to back dimension. The center of gravity moves lower and further from the face to optimize launch conditions.
Finally, an innovative stainless steel fairway series that allows total game management by offering lofts to suit a player’s individual needs! There are three important technological features that make these higher performance clubs. First, they incorporated a variable face thickness to reduce the perimeter area of the impact area so the entire club face could be more active. This acts to increase the area of forgiveness over a larger portion of the face. Secondly, the crowns are constructed with exclusive VCT (variable crown technology) and measure as little as 0.5mm thick. All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown was repositioned deep within the head. Lastly, the wide profile increases the Moment of Inertia. All these features provide for a high launching ball flight with incredible accuracy. Versatility is another word to describe the Acer XK fairway woods. Multiple lofts are offered including those not commonly found, from a strong 3-wood for players who have no problem getting the ball airborne to a high-lofted 9-wood.

Ordering Process and Shipping
Once you place your order for your custom golf clubs with Custom Golf Stop, we will email a Custom Specifications Info Sheet requesting the specifications for your golf clubs. This will include the length, shaft flex and grip size. Once we receive payment and your custom fitting details we can start building your clubs and ship them within 2-3 business days unless, an item is not in stock then 3-5 business days. Transit via UPS is anywhere from 2-6 business days. We supply a UPS tracking number for your package. In the rare event of a backordered product, we will notify you immediately.
