NOTE: THIS AUCTION IS FOR A LEFT HANDED CLUB.You are bidding on a NEW HIRO HONMA LB606 SUPER PERSIMMON #4 S-2 2 STAR. One of the first clubs to make use of Honma’s resin-impregnation hollow structure. This ultra-low center of gravity reinforced head gives a stable trajectory due to the remarkable kickback. Honmas are the most carefully-crafted golf clubs in the world. They are for golfers who value fine craftsmanship, as well as high performance. Each Homna club features its own shaft star rating. Honma initiated this system circa 1991. At the time, there were two basic differences between the stars: The Craftsman who did the work, and the specific materials used in that particular shaft. The top-of-the-line shafts (5Star, 4Star, & 3Star) were produced by the senior craftsman and the remaining shafts were produced by their apprentices. The differences in materials used are relatively little. When compared to the competition, all Honma shafts are constructed of superior grade materials. These clubs make a fine addition to any collector’s shelf, or can perform just as good as any of today’s great clubs.
