When heated, the membraneproduces a bond stronger than a metal weld, but it retains its characteristic sponginess for natural feel and playability. Its like a perimeter-weighted wedge but with a classic look.The body of the wedge head is Stainless 302 steel, a very soft stainless to help absorb shock and to allow players to bend the neck. The body features a frosted, glass-beaded finish.Jesse hollowed out the area behind the face insert, allowing the muscle to be deeper and thicker. This lowers the center of gravity on the club, which makes for a higher ball flight and softer landings.The Femco Steel Shaft is made by the same company that makes the KB Tour shafts (KB is by Kim Braly, creator of Project X and Rifle shafts).The grip is a Lamkin Crossline Midsize.
